Middle Eastern Women & Society Organisation (MEWSo)
Defending and protecting vulnerable women from violence both at home and in the wider community, and helping them rebuild their lives through tailored advice, guidance and support.
Description

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this can’t be done without a great designer. If you have an eye for design and the technical skills to turn your ideas into reality, unleash your creativity and join our team!

The Middle Eastern Women and Society Organisation (MEWSo) is looking for a volunteer to help redesign the charity’s logo as part of its new branding process.

Duties

Having a strong brand identity, including a logo, is essential for us as it leads to increased trust and helps us better attract and reach different stakeholders. We would like the volunteer to create an appealing, impactful, and recognisable logo that meaningfully represents our services and the people we work with and makes a strong first impression. The logo will be used on letterheads, flyers, posters, placards, online promotional platforms, and even on cups and mugs.

Our logo design project is the perfect opportunity if you are looking to volunteer your time and talent from the comfort of your own home and help a small friendly charity make a bigger difference to the lives of vulnerable women.

Who will the volunteers be working with?
The volunteer will be collaborating with the Communications Coordinator in this project, who works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Training
The volunteer will have ongoing learning and development opportunities to improve their skills (e.g. rotating to new roles within MEWSo, attending training workshops, representing MEWSo at networks and events).

Time commitment

There’s no specific time commitment for this role; it depends on the volunteer’s availability. The project includes some preparation and design time at the beginning and then interactions with the relevant staff members to make any required edits or adjustments. This is a volunteering opportunity with a clear deliverable at the end of the project. We would like the volunteer to start as soon as possible.
