Centre 404 is a local community charity in North London that offers friendly, reliable and person-centred support to people with learning disabilities, autism and their families. They help people gain skills to live independently, give advice and guidance to families, and hold a range of group activities, clubs and events. 

They are seeking research volunteers for to conduct a literature review on self-value, ambition, and inequality for people with learning disabilities and autism. 

The results will inform workshops and practical tools to help young people flourish. 

Duties

Volunteers will: 

  • Design a literature review on self-value, ambition, and inequality for people with learning disabilities and autism. 
  • Summarise relevant literature and produce summary report. 

  • Use literature review to design workshops focussed on self-esteem and challenges of transitioning to adulthood. 

2–3 months, flexible hours.
