Newham Council Volunteering
We are a Council led programme with great volunteering opportunities on offer.  Working in collaboration with the Students' Union UCL Volunteering Service we're promoting specific volunteering opportunities directly supported by us within the Borough of Newham.
Description

How would you like to support your local library? There are 10 libraries in Newham and they all run a series of different and exciting activities and sessions, which run during the day, in the evenings and on the weekends. Most require volunteer support. You will be volunteering under the guidance of the Library Staff who will guide and train you as you go along.

Duties

Support the running of Newham libraries through supporting a range of their activities including Homework clubs, chess club, do it online, storytelling, book club, stay and play, arts and crafts, family film club & movie nights, games club, English conversation club, toy library, community champion, get connected, basic computer skills, and so much more.

Time commitment

This is a flexible opportunity and you will be required to agree when you can attend directly with the provider of the opportunity.
