East European Resource Centre
East European Resource Centre is a charity that provides information, advice and support to people from Central and Eastern Europe from the 2004 and 2007 EU accession countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Since the start of the pandemic we have noticed a great deal of our clients who got in touch had a common issue that could not be ignored: they felt isolated, even lonely in the UK.

We set up our Isolation Support project, with the help of Imperial Health Charity, to connect with vulnerable clients through regular telephone chats.

We are seeking compassionate volunteers! Do you want to help fellow Eastern Europeans who have felt isolated due to the pandemic? If you:

- Are a good listener
- Speak Romanian or Polish
- Are looking for a way to give back to the community

Then this is the opportunity for you! This would be an ideal volunteering opportunity for anyone seeking flexibility, and the chance to build up on their experience as a volunteer in the charity sector.

If you have any spare time and you want to make a real difference in someone’s life – get in touch!

If you are interested in the role, or would like to find out more, please email us.
