Age UK Camden
Age UK Camden aims to promote the well-being of all older people in the London borough of Camden and to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. We provide a wide range of services and projects that aim to support people in later life, including those that are the most vulnerable and isolated.

Our Good Neighbour Befriending Schemes are for older people who live in the NW3 and Primrose Hill area of Camden.

The scheme is for people who are 65 +. Priority is given to those who are isolated, housebound or living with disabilities.

It can be tough in later life if you are on your own. Sometimes family members move away, we lose contact with old friends, or a bereavement can leave us feeling lonely. Befriending can help to ease some of these challenges that older people face. Volunteers are matched with an older person with a view to developing a long term friendly relationship.
