Coin Street Community Builders
The Coin Street Community Programmes Team deliver a range of programmes to local people through promoting health and wellbeing, creativity and self expression, employment and enterprise and skills and learning for life. We have a range of opportunities including one-off activities, regular sessions and project based programmes. We always have high demand for volunteers for our tutoring programme…

Make local green spaces more colourful and vibrant through helping with planting and weeding. Volunteering in the sessions will also improve health and reduce isolation of participants by growing food to share and supporting those who need help to get involved or just want to have a chat.

Time commitment

No minimum commitment, the sessions are open to all and take place on Tuesdays 11.30-2pm in Bernie Spain Gardens on the South Bank
Application deadline
What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
The majority of the session takes place online, regular volunteers have their own tools to prevent cross contamination and hand washing/ sanitising facilities are avaliable.

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.

Like all volunteer recruiters we work with, they have signed up to our service standards, agreeing to abide by our policy on partnership working.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch at any time with any questions, queries or problems you encounter.
