Two Temple Place
Two Temple Place is a magnificent neo-Tudor building on London's Victoria Embankment, just near Temple underground station. The building becomes an exhibition venue for three months each year to host our exhibition programme, and we open for other events and open days throughout the rest of the year. We rely on our friendly and enthusiastic team of around 200 volunteers to make these…
Description

Help us welcome our exhibition visitors!

Two Temple Place is a magnificent neo-Tudor gem in central London, built in 1895 for William Waldorf Astor. In 2011 we opened our first annual free exhibition, and since then exhibitions have welcomed 460,000 visitors. We run a growing programme of cultural and community events designed to open our doors more often, to more people. We rely on our friendly and enthusiastic team of around 200 volunteers to make our free exhibitions possible.

We are recruiting volunteers for our 2027 exhibition Gathering Rest. The exhibition will look at how contemporary artists are exploring personal and collective experiences of rest as an expression of intimacy, repair and solidarity.

Featuring works by modern and contemporary artists drawn from public collections and artists across the UK, the exhibition highlights practices that engage the senses and reshape experience.

Join us to welcome and support our visitors from 23 January - 18 April 2027.
