Volunteers are central to the KHT ethos. Many volunteers have travelled to Mae Hong Son in the past years to help build clean water systems and teach English, but KHT needs your help here in the UK with many different activities. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person to help us strengthen and diversify our funding base to enable our various programmes.
Duties
- Research funding sources
- Create Excel databases of funding sources
- Track funding application deadlines and contact details
- Conduct online fundraising initiatives
- Organise and implement fundraising events
Who will the volunteers be working with?
UK team is currently composed by 3 people, the volunteers will be working with: KHT Director, KHT Fundraising Manager and KHT Finance Administrator
Time commitment
Concerning time commitment, KHT is asking your help for 4 hours per week on a flexible timetable (you can freely decide when to work, informing your KHT reference person you are working with at the beginning of the week).
