Body & Soul
Organisation aims / mission / values

We are seeking a passionate, driven and versatile intern who is eager to learn and take responsibility to take Body & Soul’s fundraising to the next level.

The work of our organisation is not just about the frontline. Our mission drives us to constantly develop our model and design cutting-edge services for communities whose needs are often unseen or underserviced.

Fundraising and partnerships at Body & Soul works hand in hand with service research, design & development. As a smaller charity, you will become involved in areas of the charity that would normally require greater experience. You will have the opportunity to contribute towards an array of exciting projects, taking on responsibility and developing skills in line with your own interests and in consultation with the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships.

Time commitment

We ask interns to commit to a minimum of three days per week for between three to six months. This gives you the opportunity to see fundraising events and applications through from start to finish and ensures you have concrete achievements to add to your CV at the end of your placement.
DBS check and 2 references will be required before you start.
Application deadline

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.

Like all volunteer recruiters we work with, they have signed up to our service standards, agreeing to abide by our policy on partnership working.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch at any time with any questions, queries or problems you encounter.
