Camden Federation of Private Tenants
We work with and support private renters in Camden to organise and campaign for better protection, rights and services. To achieve these aims and objectives we work closely with other local, regional and national groups/organisations, and we also run and manage the Renters' Rights London (RRL) project.
Description
Today, charities are facing a range of financial pressures as a consequence of ever rising costs and the cost-of-living crisis; with the small local ones being hardest hit.
So, we are looking for somebody who is creative, resourceful and reliable to work with our small local organisation, to not only help us survive these difficult times, but to develop and grow in them as well.
Please note: We are not expecting a potential volunteer to be a fundraising expert and there is plenty of scope within this role to gain new skills and knowledge while utilising your existing ones.
Duties
- Carry out online research into potential funders, donors and sponsors, with a particular emphasis on company giving.
- Help us identify and develop corporate, trust and individual relationship opportunities where approrpiate.
- Carry out a cost benefit analysis of the different types of fundraising opportunities that are appropriate for a small local charity like ours.
- Help implement any agreed fundraising activities.
- Help analyse the effectiveness of our fundraising activities.
