Sunshine Volunteers are student representatives who are passionate about leading a team and achieving our goal of widespread poverty relief.
The charity has partnered with over 600 charity organisations in 24 countries around the world, helping over 400,000 people and working on 14 out of 17 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Volunteering events and programmes are hosted relating to food, anti-pandemic items, construction, education etc.

Duties
As a Sunshine Volunteer you will:
- Extend the reputation of Sunshine Action UK at your institution by creating and leading a society/club
- Work with the Head of Finance in order to apply for grants, and manage the overall spending of the Sunshine UCL branch
- Learn more about the workings of our charity organisation
Training
Volunteers in this role will receive as much guidance and support necessary to be successful in the role. We understand that students may not be strong in all of the skills that we look for, but we are happy to train anybody who are passionate about our cause.
Time commitment
Sunshine Volunteers work closely with our organisation, so while it is quite flexible we do require consistent involvement. Sunshine Action values long term commitment as we believe that the network we create will be useful in the future to all of our volunteers.
