Paiwand is operating as a main organisation to help many refugees in London. As a charity, fundraisers and donations are very important to us in order to fund and provide the refugees with their requirements. This role is important in raising money for Paiwand and increasing awareness of the charity. Volunteers benefit from this role by developing their organisation, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Duties
  • Organising fundraising and promoting events
  • Come up with ideas and strategies
  • In charge of communications
  • Take part in events where you will be the voice of Paiwand
Who will the volunteers be working with?

Training
The volunteer will have an induction and be trained on their role duties.

Time commitment

We ideally would ask the volunteer to commit to 2 days a week for a minimum of 6-months. The working hours are flexible and can be planned with their line manager.

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.

Like all volunteer recruiters we work with, they have signed up to our service standards, agreeing to abide by our policy on partnership working to keep you safe and supported whilst you volunteer.

You’ll never be out of pocket for volunteering through us – with in-London travel expenses to and from your volunteering guaranteed.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch with us at any time.
