Royal Voluntary Service
Royal Voluntary Service is one of the largest volunteering organisations in Great Britain, providing vital, responsive services which support public health, social care and wellbeing. Its staff and thousands of volunteers support people in need, with the aim of building resilience in local communities.
Description

As a Emergency Response Volunteer you will be someone we can call upon to help if there is an urgent need to support people in and around your local community or to lend a hand to your local NHS in a hospital environment.

There is a range of support that you could provide as a Emergency Response Volunteer such as:
• Helping your local hospital in need of extra volunteers in winter
• Visiting someone who’s recovering from illness
• Joining the team at our hospital shops or cafes when they are short-handed
• Supporting a local lunch club needing to continue to provide lunches to participants.

Our Emergency Response Volunteers are able to help provide their skills and support in a time of need. The above list does not cover all the possible tasks and requests for help will be based on local needs. As long as you are ready and willing please step forward to join us today.
