Want to share something creative connected to your culture?
As part of UCL Intercultural Week, we’re hosting a Crafternoon: a fun, creative, drop-in workshop celebrating the incredible cultures and nationalities that make up our UCL community.
We’re looking for student volunteers to run engaging creative stalls inspired by their culture! Everything created will be donated to relevant local community spaces or shared with local community groups!
As a thank you, you will receive a £20 voucher to spend at Intercultural Festival Food and Gift Stalls!
Date: Thursday 26th February
Time: 12:00 – 15:00 pm including setting up and tidying up. The Crafternoon will run from 12:30 – 2:30pm
- We are looking for students to design and deliver a quick and accessible creative activity for students to get involved with (the activities should take no more than 15 minutes to complete). Don’t worry if you’re not a “craft expert” - simple, welcoming ideas are exactly what we’re after!
- We have space for four stalls, each representing a different culture or nationality, and students who attend will be able to move freely between stalls. We’re looking for maximum 4 students to run each stall.
- We’ll provide the materials you need for your activity and as a thank you, all student volunteers will receive a £20 voucher to spend at UCL’s Intercultural Week street food or gift stalls!
