Description

At Rainham Hall, we are looking for Conservation Volunteers to help out with our Winter Clean. 

Duties

Volunteers will be carrying out work for our ‘Winter Clean’ in the house with a particular focus on waxing and buffing wooden floors. Volunteers would need to be physically fit and able to work on hands and knees (knee pads/kneelers will be provided). We would also provide gloves and dust masks if the task requires them. 

Who will the volunteers be working with?
Volunteers will be working alongside National Trust staff and /or trained National Trust Collections Care and Conservation Volunteers.
Training
Task-specific training will be provided.

Time commitment

The volunteering sessions will be taking place from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm (including a lunch break) on the following dates:

14th - 16th January
21st - 23rd January
28th - 30th January
4th - 6th February

You can volunteer for just a day or as many as you like!
