St John's Hospice
St John's Hospice provides expert care and support to people living with a long term illness in London. Each year, St John's supports over 4500 patients and their family members, living with a range of conditions including Cancer, respiratory disease, motor neurone disease, HIV and MS. We aim to meet their physical, social, emotional and welfare needs through a comprehensive package of support.

We need an enthusiastic volunteer to assist in engaging their local community to hospice fundraising opportunities.

Community fundraising means raising money with volunteers. This often takes the form of events such as coffee mornings, cake-sales or concerts & fayres.

The most important asset in community fundraising is the community – your supporters, volunteers and their families, friends and neighbours. So it is vitally important that we engage this audience.

This role will consist of setting up fundraising initiatives, encouraging people to take part in challenge events and fun things such as bake sales.

Time commitment

Flexible though we would expect at least a few hours a month to ensure that the role is successful.
