We are looking for volunteers interested in collections based work as we embark on an exciting project to move and redisplay the permanent collection.

The project will begin in June 2022 and be ongoing.

Your travel expenses to and from placement will be reimbursed up to £10.

Time commitment

The project will run 9:30-5pm on weekdays and is ongoing. There is no minimum time commitment and we will discuss availability with each volunteer.
We welcome different commitment patterns, whether it be half-a-day each week across the summer, two weeks full-time, or a consistent day a week ongoing.
What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
We follow the latest Government guidelines to ensure everyone's safety.

For those who are concerned as they are vulnerable or shielding a vulnerable person then it is possible to schedule volunteering on days when we are closed to the public, so the building is quieter, and/or at times where there are fewer other volunteers in the collections space.
