Description

Adult groups at Centre 404 target confidence building, improving social interaction, increasing independence, and building relationships.

Duties
  • Engage in friendly conversation and encourage participation
  • Help with set up and break down of group
  • Support senior working running the group
  • Help monitor the health and safety of the group
  • Advocate and facilitate choice among attendees where able
  • Willingness to learn the best way to communicate to the individuals within the group
Training
• Induction to Centre 404 and Learning and Leisure Induction
• Safeguard Training

Time commitment

Flexible, but usually weekly for two hours. 3-6 month minimum.
