We support vulnerable people access the wider community with confidence and self-confidence, we recruit volunteers to support us to achieve this goal. We work with people living with; mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, older and young people and families.

To provide administrative support to support staff at One Support services.

This may involve assisting with the duty desk, liaising with staff and external agencies, data input, maintaining customer records and general administrative duties.

Reception work, supporting customers with paperwork and letters if required. Supporting staff collate customer surveys, perhaps design the questionnaire.

Time commitment

We would like volunteers to commit to minimum two hours a week, stay with us minimum 3 months. Volunteers can stay longer, we will not ask them to leave after 3 months. However, we require consistently in their volunteering, as customers expect them and staff make time for them.

What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
We follow the Government guidelines with regards to COVID precautions and this will be explained when they come to see the manager to discuss the role.
