Over the Wall
Over The Wall provides free of charge residential activity camps to children and young people aged 8-17 affected by serious illness and their families. We give seriously ill children and their families a week of experiences that are memorable, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound- but we require a superb group of Volunteers to make the magic happen.

Over The Wall is a charity that helps children, young people and their families, living in the UK, reach beyond the boundaries of their health challenges to discover a world of mischief, magic and new possibilities. We do this by providing free of charge, transformative activity camps throughout the UK. We create an inclusive environment where children and young people can be themselves, thrive and grow.

Our Health Challenge & Siblings Camps are magical places where campers take part in fun activities including sports, games, drama, arts and crafts and discovery. Campers are divided into teams based on their age groups of 8-10, 11-13, 13-15 and 15-17 years of age.

If you want to do something incredible, have fun and help create great memories for campers and meet like minded people, apply today!

Join us to run some fantastic activities and help bring some fun and excitement to the sessions!

We're looking for some amazing people to take on a role as Activity Leader at our camps in 2024. Our activities have been planned by our team and will be taught to you so that you can confidently lead them. Or perhaps you have a secret talent you’d love to run as an activity. We’ve previously had origami sessions and woodwork that we couldn't have run without our volunteers coming forward to provide them.

Do you have an interest in a particular area? Maybe it's Arts and Crafts, Drama or Sports? Could you use your skills to provide a memorable activity for our campers?

Camps are between 2 - 4 days long and you will be required to arrive one day early for training. We will give you all the necessary training and support and provide your accommodation and food for the duration of camp.
