Your Role

Represent students’ priorities and interests to the Union The UCL East Student Officer will lead on supporting and representing the views of UCL East students. The UCL East Student Officer will work closely with the President who is the Union’s lead for UCL East activities and services.

Issues You May Work On

As a Student Officer, you will work closely with students and Sabbatical Officers. Issues may vary depending on student concern. However, previous Officers have worked on issues such as:

  • Represent the needs and concerns of students studying at UCL East.
  • Be an active member of the Welfare & Community Zone.

Your Eligibility

Any UCL student studying at UCL East.

Time Required For Role

This is a part-time, unpaid position. You are expected to attend Welfare & Community Zone meetings and a range of additional events, approx. 15-20 hours per term. Job shares are welcome.

Welcome and Training

The role is supported by a full programme of training, development and support to help build all of the skills and knowledge required and to support longer term personal development.

If you are elected into the role you will be required to attend mandatory training:
