League Rules

Social Tennis League Rules

Format
- The league will be split into 2 divisions, Saturday and Sunday.

- Players will be in a 16 person Ladder league. Players move up if they win matches and down if they lose. You can only challenge those up to 2 places above you. Once you have decided who are you going to take on, you and your opposition must book a time over the weekend on the form attached.

- The more games you play, the more points you have the potential of scoring.

Rules
- Players spin the racket to find rough or smooth. If you win, you can choose between serving first or pick which end of the court you would like to start at. Your opponent can then exercise the remaining choice.
- After every odd number, you must change ends. 1,3,5 etc
- If you miss both of your serves you concede the point.
- If the ball lands outside the boundaries of the court you concede the point.
- If the ball hits the net or fails to pass the net you concede the point.
- If a player deliberately distracts an opponent by any action such as shouting or making gestures they will concede the point.
- If the ball is hit twice in succession you concede the point.
- There will be no line judges (obviously), please be honest with your line calls.
- If you are unsure of a call, you should replay the point.
