Officiating
We are currently recruiting officials for volleyball, netball, basketball and football leagues.
- Earn up to £20 per hour if you have a refereeing/officiating qualification
- Earn up to £15 per hour if you have a first aid qualification and are working towards an officiating qualification.
We are able to heavily subsidise officating qualification costs if you are currently, or will be, working/volunteering on TeamUCL Leagues as a match official. Our match officials are required to have a first aid qualification and we can enroll you onto a course if you haven't already.

TeamUCL League Activator
- Purpose of the role
TeamUCL Leagues provides the UCL community with a diverse range of opportunities to participate in social sports. Activators are essential in the high-quality delivery of our leagues and tournaments and help to make sure we create a fun and social atmosphere for all participants.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Be a friendly face that represents TeamUCL at leagues and tournaments, so that the students have a point of call on the day if they have any questions.
- Collecting results from the matches and reporting back to the TeamUCL Leagues Assistant.
- Supporting venue staff and match officials to administer basic first aid if required.
- Reporting near misses, hazards, or injuries during the TeamUCL Social Leagues/Events.
- Collecting and returning equipment from the TeamUCL office or relevant storage spaces.
- Capturing content for TeamUCL Leagues Instagram account.
