Clubs holding annual alumni events is a sporting tradition at TeamUCL. Every year we see hundreds of alumni return to UCL for games, training sessions, and socials with current club members.

Format
We know all clubs and sports have their own traditions, we encourage you to run the event best suited to your members and alumni.
Some ideas from recent years include:
- Small-sided games in a tournament style (e.g. 5-aside Football, Rugby 7s, Kwik Cricket, Rounders)
- An open training session to include alumni guests.
- A full fixture against an alumni team, captained by a recently graduated member who could oversee coordinating the team.
- A fixture that includes your graduating players together across your club, competing against a team of alumni or members who only joined your club this year!
We do encourage clubs to consider raising money - for yourselves, the Student Participation Fund or a charity connected to your club - through ticket sales or donations during the event.

Why join the series?
- Celebrate your club and its history by meeting up with old friends, meeting new people with shared experiences and building your network.
- Earn development points to win funding for next year.
- These regular events are a great way to kickstart a strong alumni network and other benefits like mentoring, links with clubs and even sponsorship.
- Remember that you'll benefit from the alumni network one day - put on the event you'd like to come back to!
Get inspired by UCL Hockey Clubs' historic games, in memory of alumni Mandy Walker.
