This years theme: Energizing Solutions for a Sustainable Planet

The climate emergency presents our students with some of the most pressing areas of research. All across the univeristy, students are working to address this global challenge.

We want to hear about a piece of work you have done that is helping to energise solutions for a more sustainable planet. Whether its a paper, experiment, or presentation that you've done, take that work and distil it down into a flash talk that will connect with our wider community.

What if I'm not a scientist?

We are looking for students from all academic backgrounds. Are you an architect thinking about how buildings can heal our planet? An anthropologist studying how the climate crisis affects social relations in rural communities? An artist reducing textile waste through public art? We want you on board! The most important critieria is a keen interest in communicating complex ideas in an accessible way.
