UCL Leaders is an annual conference facilitating international debates on the most pressing issues faced by the leaders today and a platform for sharing ideas between ambitious students and inspiring speakers. It welcomes interdisciplinary panel discussions between industry experts, politicians and leading academics on European and global topics ranging from economics, business to culture and sustainability.

Day 1: WORKSHOPS — Friday 25th March
The first day of the conference comprises a wide array of industry specialist-led workshops which allow attendants to increase soft and hard skills in their area of interest. The UCL Leaders Conference launched in 2017 as one of a handful of events in the UK aimed at creating a platform for Polish students to discuss domestic affairs from an external perspective. Ever since it has developed to attract students from around the world and this year’s edition is the first to have a truly global perspective, not only in terms of attendees but also the speakers and the topics that will be covered.
With previous speakers ranging from former presidents to Oscar winners, the Panels are the most exciting part of the weekend, where you can immerse yourself in a full day of discussions about the implications of the transition towards a low-carbon economy, rapid technological and scientific advancement to understanding human thinking, rising tensions in global politics and art as a tool of bringing meaning to the world. All of this, of course, is accompanied by complimentary coffee and lunch breaks.
The evening standing reception will mark an end to the exceptional weekend with drinks and snacks as well as a further opportunity to meet the speakers and attendees.
