Help others learn and grow

We know that many students have had previous lives and careers - you don't arrive at UCL an "empty vase"! You can gain really great experience and give back to your own student community by designing and leading learning experiences for other students through workshops, communities and activities. This is for students who want to:

  • Teach
  • Facilitate
  • Mentor
  • Host
  • Bring people together

Create, not participate

When you create opportunities for others, you develop skills that are difficult to learn any other way. You also surface skills you might not have known you even had! You learn how to:

  • Lead
  • Influence
  • Communicate
  • Solve problems
  • Build relationships
  • Manage projects
  • Turn ideas into reality

Not sure where to start?

You don't need a finished plan. You just need a starting point. and an opportunity. The opportunity is ExtendED in term 3 and the people are our ExtendED Learning team. Katie and Sayonee will be more than hear your idea and guide you through building an idea into a session.
