Who is the LGBT+ Network Disabled Students' Representative?

The LGBT+ committee leads the Union in providing for the social lives and representational needs of LGBT+ students at UCL. As Disabled Students' Rep, you will represent students who self-define as Disabled and LGBT+ on your committee. You'll be responsible for ensuring that events and campaigns are accessible to and reflect the needs of your individual group and will have the opportunity to create and run social events and campaigns aimed specifically at Disabled LGBT+ students. As a member of the committee, you'll also have a say in the overall direction of the Network.

What will you do as LGBT+ Network Disabled Students' Representative?

With training and support from Union staff, you will:
● Represent the interests of your group on the Section Committee
● Run campaigns and social events relevant to your group
● Have a say in the running of the Network and make sure its events and activities are accessible and engaging for your group

Who can stand?

All students who self-define as LGBT+ and disabled

What is involved?

● Minimum of 2 Section meetings per term
● Attendance at any relevant LGBT+ Network and Union events
