Make a difference in just 20 mins (or thereabouts)
Think making a difference requires a huge commitment?
Think again.
Sometimes the biggest impact comes from lots of people doing something small.
Our microvolunteering opportunities are designed to fit around your life at UCL. Drop in, get involved and contribute to projects that support charities, communities and causes that matter.
You don't need experience. You don't need to sign up to a long-term project. You don't need to commit every week.
Just show up and do what you can. No pressure. No expectations.
Small actions. Big collective impact
On your own, 20 minutes might not feel like much.
But when hundreds of students each contribute a little time, those small actions add up to something powerful.
Together, students have created care packages, supported local charities, contributed to community projects and even broken a world record through collective action.
Every contribution matters.
Because making a difference isn't about doing everything. It's about doing something.
