Purpose of the job

We’re seeking students for roles as Events Assistants at the School of Management. You will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation and delivery of events and activities on campus, helping to create a vibrant and welcoming environment for all students.

You will support a wide range of activities including on evenings and weekends, providing practical help to ensure events run smoothly and successfully.

Job description
  • Assist in the planning, setup and teardown of events on campus.
  • Provide logistical support during events, including registration, directing attendees, setting up equipment and managing event materials.
  • Act as a point of contact for event participants, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Work with event organisers to ensure smooth running and address any issues that arise during events.
  • Gather feedback from event attendees to help improve future events.
  • Carry out basic event evaluation to ensure activities are high quality and accessible for UCL East students.
  • Ensure all events adhere to SoM’s health and safety guidelines and assist with completing risk assessments where required.
