We are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic, organised, and reliable individuals with a strong knowledge of higher-level maths and English to support our students at the Kumon Kennington & Walworth Study Centres. Our students range in age from 3 to 14 years old, and we welcome applicants who have experience working with both younger and older children and those who have worked in a structured and professional environment.This part-time position is ideal for someone local, passionate about learning, and seeking 4 to 5 hours of work daily. The working hours will be agreed upon mutually, and you will be compensated for your work hours.Additionally, a DBS check will be necessary for this role. Job description Collaborate with the Instructor and Senior Centre Staff to ensure the centre's smooth operation.Mark and record students' work.Observe and document students' progress.Assist students with advanced mathematics or English.Take pride in maintaining the centre's appearance, making it welcoming for both parents and students.Play an essential role in the Centre's culture by supporting internal and external events.Be available to work overtime for special events as needed, including some weekends.Strong skills in higher-level mathematics are required.Work Experience:- Previous experience in a classroom or study centre role is essential.- Youth work experience is preferred.**Personal Attributes:- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
