Tutorit is an online education service supporting students in international and bilingual schools. We provide personalised, one-to-one tutoring and take a thoughtful approach to matching students with tutors based on subject needs, availability, and working style.
While academic ability is important, we place strong value on clear communication, consistency, and rapport. Students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and understood — and we look for tutors who naturally create that kind of learning environment.
We’re currently looking for current university students or recent graduates who enjoy teaching and working with school-aged students in a focused but approachable way.
Lessons are delivered online, and most students learn after school, so availability during UK afternoons and early evenings is important.
Job description

- Deliver one-to-one online lessons to school students
- Adapt your teaching style to suit different personalities and learning needs
- Support students with coursework, revision, exam preparation and building confidence
- Build strong, professional tutor–student relationships over time
- Communicate clearly with the Tutorit team, student or parent regarding your availability and lesson scheduling
Lessons are scheduled flexibly. During busy academic periods (such as before exams or tests), lesson frequency or duration may increase by mutual agreement.
This role is best suited to tutors looking for ongoing, flexible work, rather than one-off sessions.

- Comfortable teaching at least GCSE level (or equivalent)
- Confident spoken English with a clear communication style
- Able to keep lessons structured while remaining approachable
- Comfortable working with students from different cultural backgrounds
- Reliable availability during UK time 1pm–7pm on most weekdays (you do not need to be free for this entire window)
- Access to a laptop or tablet and stable internet
Previous tutoring experience is helpful, but not essential — we care more about how you communicate and engage with students than formal teaching credentials.
Pay:
- £20 per hour
- Flexible hours
- Fully remote
