Want to help shape Social Impact Activities in East London?

Join us for a 2-hour interactive focus group exploring how UCL students can create meaningful social impact in East London. Open to students from both Bloomsbury and UCL East, this session will gather your views to help shape future Social Impact programmes.

We want to understand students’ awareness of UCL East’s neighbouring boroughs, experiences of volunteering or working with local charities and community groups, and any barriers to getting involved, particularly in East London. We also want to hear what motivates you to make a difference, the causes you care about, and the skills you’d like to develop.

Your feedback will help UCL strengthen opportunities for student engagement, increase impact in local communities, and design programmes that are more relevant, inclusive and accessible. Whether you already volunteer or are just interested in getting started, your voice matters.

This workshop will take place at Phoenix Court, a beautiful co-working space in King's Cross, complete with complimentary refreshments, hot and cold drinks!

As a thank you for your time, you will receive a £30 gift voucher for Trampoline Café in Angel!

Is this event only for students based at UCL East?

Nope, all students welcome! This focus group is open to you wherever your course is based.

Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?

No formal preparation is required. Just come ready to share your thoughts and experiences.

How will my feedback be used?
