How does The Consulting Summit 2026 Competition work?
The competition will be hosted in-person at UCL. For your reference, we’ve attached last year’s rulebook and participants’ guide, which provide a detailed outline of how the competition works.
To summarise, 2 case studies will be used in the competition. Each team will be assigned one case study and will have one week to submit their presentations. On the competition day, there is the preliminary round and the final round. During the preliminary round, each team will be placed in 1 of 5 breakout rooms and present their cases to consultant judges. The winners from each breakout room are the finalists and proceed to the final round. Prior to the final round, the finalists will be presented with a crisis case and have 1 hour to edit their presentation as they see fit in light of this new information. The 5 finalists will present in the final round, and the team with the most marks in the final will be the winner of the competition.
