This workshop will enable you to understand the range of opportunities available to build robust practices to facilitate Education for Sustainable Development. We will provide insight on the current government strategy on Sustainability and Climate Change, including insight into the exciting work of the National Education Nature Park. You will be given time to work, in groups, to shape an activity, that you could use in schools and settings. Key pedagogical approaches such as enquiry-based learning will be shared to empower you to develop your activities using these principles. We hope you will leave the workshop with a clear plan on working with a group of pupils with an activity that supports their understanding of sustainability.
