Join us for a special Students’ Union UCL screening of Power Station, a 90-minute documentary following a group of neighbours in Walthamstow as they try to turn their street and local schools solar, building a community-led “power station” from the ground up. The film offers an honest, funny and hopeful look at what happens when ordinary people work together to tackle the climate crisis where they live.
After the screening, there will be a short panel discussion with guests who work on community and climate action, including people involved in energy, social enterprise and organising. This is a chance to ask questions, connect what you’ve seen to your studies, and find routes into getting involved with climate and community action at UCL and beyond.
