Panafrik: Remastering the Mainstream marks the return of UCL African and Caribbean Society’s (ACS) annual showcase—a student-led celebration of African-Caribbean heritage through dance, music, fashion, and drama.
This year’s theme centres around individuality; embracing the varied personalities, interests, and unique tastes within the community. Too often, Black people are seen as fitting into a “box” that oversimplifies identity. Panafrik aims to challenge this, providing a creative space that celebrates diversity and self-expression beyond stereotypes.
