This summit is the first time all the cultural societies are being brought together under the Student Union and aims to foster a new way of working with our student leaders and groups.
- Celebrate the long history and achievements of the cultural societies within the SU
- Establish formal two- way communication on what cultural societies need from the SU and how the SU can provide support
- Provide a centralised area and continued line of support for cultural societies, recognising their multifaceted and varied needs compared to other interest groups
- Connect cultural societies to specific resources and points of contact that will be useful throughout their year
- Open a line of communication between the SU and societies about cultural events through the year, allowing for transparency and cross-collaboration and representation at a scale much larger than ever before
- Meet leaders and committee of the other cultural societies and begin creating a new image of culture at UCL.
The summit will include opportunities to network, meet other students and staff, and see how you can take your society to the next level.
Its an event not to be missed, and we would love to have representation from all cultural and faith societies.
There may even been some food/pizza for those taking part...
