Enjoy an evening in a classic English pub, with a range of beers and ales to try as well as a full non-alcoholic menu before meeting other students at one of our popular speedfriendings.
At the speedfriending you'll have a chance to befriend someone, maybe even the entire group, as you spend a few minutes getting to know each other in record time. The format is similar to speed dating only you’re speed… friending! The speedfriending will kick off at 18:00 and finish at 20:00 leaving you time to gab a drink before and after with some your fellow speedfrienders.
Whether you're new to UCL, or you're just looking to make some new friends, everyone is welcome. We will provide some questions and games for you to ask people you are paired with. When your time is up you will be placed with a new person and so on.
You can drop in and drop out if you need to and the sessions are welcoming and inclusive.
The ground floor of Huntley's has a step-free access route via the ramp leading into 136 Gower Street (Lewis Building), which can be found around the building (Gower Place side). Once inside the building, turn to the first set of doors on the right, through the café seating area, and to the left (where the café is situated). There is a lift next to the stairs. Take it to floor G2 for the Huntley (turn left out of the lift), and the basement (B2) for Mully’s (head straight out of the lift). The upstairs of Huntley is not accessible.
