About Grange Primary School

Grange Primary School is a friendly and diverse school in central London for children aged 4 - 11 years old. Like UCL, it's a global school with 52 different languages spoken in addition to English. The school is passionate about promoting reading for pleasure for the pupils. All volunteers will be given training by the school literacy lead on how to read with children. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and have fun too!

About the Project Leads

We (Katharine and Nenna) are postgrads in the UCL Department of Information Studies. We share enthusiasm for reading for pleasure and previously volunteered as literacy supporters or reading buddies at other schools and organisations. Katharine is currently one of the volunteer librarians at Grange Primary School.
