Project Impactive is building the future of assistive tech.

The project name ‘Impactive’ reflects our mission: to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives by developing bespoke assistive technology and tackling accessibility issues in our society. Our dedicated team of volunteer engineers and committee members collaborates closely with our clients and partners, ensuring that the solutions we create empower individuals to lead more, self-directed lives.

By involving our clients in the design process alongside our engineers, we enable them to take charge of their situations, ensuring that each final product is optimised to meet the unique demands of their lifestyle. We have created a wide variety of assistive technologies, including wheelchair modifications, customised exercise equipment,  and accessories that facilitate the use of electronic devices. Our participatory, design-led approach to solving accessibility issues has received recognition: Project Impactive has won four awards, including the Princess Diana Award in 2019, and was one of the top four organisations shortlisted for the Mayor of London Volunteering Award

We believe that by providing people with the best tools to foster independence, we can address some of the world's most pressing challenges, together. We are always looking for talented people who are passionate about building a more accessible and inclusive future. If you're ready to make a tangible difference and positively impact lives, we encourage you to apply for a role with us!
