Stoll
Stoll houses and supports vulnerable and disabled ex-Service men and women, including those who have been homeless. We provide housing, support and education for Veterans, to ensure that they are physically and mentally equipped to live independently in the community.
Description

About us

Some Veterans struggle to adapt to civilian life after leaving the Armed Forces. At Stoll, we support the most vulnerable Veterans by assessing their needs and arranging appropriate support. This can include a new affordable home, skill development for job readiness, and health support. Once a Veteran is living independently, we continue to support them and encourage their progression from Stoll where possible.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for student volunteers who are enthusiastic about working for our organisation and the not-for-profit sector. Volunteers should have an interest in social welfare, mental health awareness and homelessness since our organisation supports veterans in need of housing. An interest in the veterans sector is very desirable and volunteers should be empathetic to the issues faced by veterans in need of support.

We are flexible with how many hours and weeks you can provide. This is an ongoing opportunity for students.
