Club Kali, a historic safe space for the South Asian LGBTQ+ community, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a series of outputs including events, oral history interviews, a podcast series, archive creation and an exhibition at Islington Museum. These events honour the club’s role in fostering inclusion, resilience, and community over the decades.
We are seeking 3-4 students to conduct scoping research for a podcast series on South Asian LGBTQ+ communities. This is an exciting opportunity to conduct qualitative analysis, working directly with brand new oral histories to connect stories and build narratives. For those interested, the role may extend beyond the scoping phase, with chances to contribute to podcast scripting and production.
- Conduct quantitative analysis with oral histories collected by the Club Kali team.
- Connect stories and build narratives for a series of podcast episodes.
- Opportunity to contribute to podcast scripting and production.
