Black Woman Kindness Initiative
At Black Woman Kindness CIC, we are interested in self-care as the means to building self-confidence and resilience among Black women to build a stronger community. We are challenging the notice of the Strong Black Woman showing no weakness. We do this through our paid-for practical workshops, events, and discussion groups delivered through Black Woman Kindness Initiative. Our CIC is a company…
Description

The Wellbeing Hub for Global Majority Women in Redbridge offers essential support through activities such as dancing, fitness, skill-building, and connecting participants to local services for continued care. Guided by its core values of authenticity, inclusivity, kindness, and celebration, the hub creates a safe and welcoming space where women can connect, grow, and thrive.

We are seeking passionate volunteers to contribute to a meaningful project focused on collecting insights through qualitative research. Your work will involve designing a user-friendly and culturally sensitive survey to gather ongoing feedback from the women who engage with the hub. These insights will play a vital role in shaping an impact report that highlights the hub's importance in reducing health inequalities and supports applications for future funding.

Join us in making a difference by amplifying the voices of women from Black, Asian, and global majority backgrounds, ensuring their experiences and needs are at the heart of this transformative initiative.

Duties
  • Organize and facilitate a focus group with women to discuss:
  • The types of questions they feel comfortable answering.
  • Preferred formats for survey collection (online, paper, etc.).
  • Required language translations for inclusivity.
  • Develop a new survey aligned with feedback and funding body requirements.
  • Provide recommendations on how future surveys can efficiently collect essential information.
