Dyspraxic Me
Dyspraxic Me is a peer group for young dyspraxic people aged 16-25. They support dyspraxic young people to develop skills for independent living through free monthly meetings.
Description

Dyspraxic Me are a London based charity that support dyspraxic young people to develop skills for independent living. They want to reach a larger audience and promote their activities more widely. They are seeking a dedicated team of student volunteers to produce and begin implementing an outreach strategy. They current rely on the following channels: social media, Eventbrite, mailing list. They had previously received publicity support from the national dyspraxia charity but with this closing they are struggling to increase their visibility.

Duties
  • Create an outreach strategy for Dyspraxic Me to expand their audiences.
  • Set up and pilot new channels to ensure feasibility.
  • Present the strategy to trustees of Dyspraxic Me. Since the charity is entirely volunteer run and capacity is limited, it would be useful for the student volunteers to train other volunteers in navigating the new channels.
