Green Walkers
Are you appalled by the excessive amount of litter found around UCL and in London? Do you wish to do something about it?
Description

If you are appalled by the excessive amounts of litter polluting the streets of London and would like to do something about it, join our volunteering litter picking group and help make an impactful change for our environment! Our litter picking walks focus on the areas surrounding main campus, such as Euston road, Gower street, Warren street and Tottenham Court road. Litter picking equipment is provided so all you have to do is show up.

Duties

Duties will be collecting litter from the streets using litter pickers and sorting them into recycling or non recycling bags.

Time commitment

There is no minimum time commitment. You can show up to as many or as little litter picking walks as you'd like. Once we have recruited enough regular volunteers we will aim to have litter picking walks at least once a month.

This is an opportunity offered by a Student-Led Volunteering Project. It is run by UCL students and supported and supervised by staff in Students' Union UCL Volunteering Service.
