London Play Design is a dynamic Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to transforming underfunded Adventure Playgrounds and public spaces into vibrant community hubs. They work closely with local communities to understand their needs and create inclusive, creative, and engaging environments that inspire social interaction, play, and environmental awareness.
They are recruiting a team of student volunteers to design an evaluation to measure the impact of their programmes within local community.
They want to understand the role and importance of staffed, supervised adventure playgrounds for children and their families within a metropolitan setting. The goal of the evaluation is to:
- Understand how their programmes have improved their lives of local communities.
- Demonstrate the impact of their programmes.
- Share this evidence with corporate and local authority partners.
- Map out the goals and needs of the evaluation.
- Conduct a comprehensive evaluation design.
- Liaise regularly with manager at London Play Design to communicate project progress.
- Present findings to the London Play Design team.
- Option to stay on to take part in the evaluation itself.
