As part of our services, we provide weekly English classes to clients from migrant and minority ethnic backgrounds to help them better integrate into society and reduce their social isolation by creating a safe space to meet other women and share their experiences. We’re urgently looking for a female volunteer to teach E1 English level to our clients.( Wednesday from 1 pm to 3pm)
The volunteer doesn’t need to have previous teaching experience but must have a good command of English, can engage with clients in a professional and friendly manner, and be able to commit to the required hours.
Teaching E1 English and preparing required materials for the class.
What’s in it for the volunteers?
-Volunteers will gain work experience in the charity sector and be part of a highly motivated, professional team with big ambitions to change the lives of vulnerable women for the better.
-They will have ongoing learning and development opportunities to improve their skills (e.g. rotating to new roles within MEWSo, attending training workshops, representing MEWSo at networks and events)
-They will receive certificates of recognition and references to support their professional development.
