Description
To be an English conversation partner for Japanese undergraduate students who are visiting UCL for a 2-week English language and British culture course.
Duties
- To engage the students in conversation at a level that is comprehensive for them.
- To answer questions regarding UCL and life in London.
- To ask questions to the students about their student life and life in Japan.
Who will the volunteers be working with?
The volunteers will be helping Japanese undergraduate students to improve their English language skills by engaging in conversation with them.
The activity will be supervised by a tutor from the UCL Centre for Languages and International Education.

Training
A worksheet with instructions will be sent to volunteers before the event.
Time commitment
This is a one-off activity. It will be held on Wednesday 3rd September from 2pm - 3:30pm on campus.
