Swapping Bloomsbury Fitness for Bloemfontein, TeamUCL Elite Athlete Nikhil Koteeswaran has recently been in South Africa to compete the u19 cricket world cup. Nikhil is a second year undergraduate student, studying Chemistry with Management, and here he is talking about his experience:

"I recently had the privilege to represent my country, Scotland, in the ICC u19 cricket world cup in South Africa. It was an amazing experience and a real challenge having to play against teams like England and South Africa. It was especially amazing to play South Africa in front of over 2000 fans, and personally picking up 2 wickets when we were under the pump!"

"I also appreciate the help I have received from the TeamUCL Elite Athlete Support Programme, which allowed me to receive high quality S&C, nutrition advice and also help with communicating my university department whilst I was away."

Nikhil is a silver athlete on our TeamUCL Elite Athlete Support Programme, applications for which will re-open in July 2024.
